WHO WE ARE AT A GLANCE

WHO WE ARE

Freedom Worship Center is a multicultural international church of Christian believers from many nationalities, colors, and cultural backgrounds. We are one church in  located Velburg near Hohenfels, Germany. We seek to be more than just another church, but more like the family of God.

Our goal is to reach as many various People Groups living in the immediate areas that enjoy our Charismatic style of worship as we lift up the name of Jesus. Among these People Groups that we are reaching are, Germans, Hispanics, Africans, Russians, Middle Easterners, Philipinos, and American men and women serving in the U.S. Army, and of course, expatriates living in the area. Although we are from many nations, we are proud to be a part of the Kingdom of God.

At Freedom Worship Center we certainly aren't perfect, and you won't find any "Super Saints" here. What you will find is a group of people who are doing the best they can to serve God. If you are looking for perfect people in a perfect church, this is not the place to look. If you are struggling with life and are looking for God, then you found the right place. Join us on Sunday or throughout the week and let's work together at seeking God. You deserve some FREEDOM in your life today!

Freedom Worship Center e.V. is apart of Freedom Outreach International , which falls under Church of God  based in Cleveland TN., one of the oldest Pentecostal Bodies in the United States. OUR VISION & MISSION

To see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, and empowered to serve.

VISION STATEMENT

We are a ministry that seeks to reach all people from all nations and from every culture, making disciples and equipping them to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

MISSION STATEMENT

  • To preach good news to the poor, to proclaim freedom for those that prisoners to sin, to heal the sick, to bring deliverance for those that are oppressed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor (Isa. 61:1, Luke 4:18-19).

  • As a church composed of a body of believers, to be a soul-saving station and outreach center to the world (Mark 16:15-l6; Hebrews 10:39; Romans 10:13; I Corinthians 10:33; I Timothy 4:12).

  • As individual believers, to be faithful to the soul winning vision (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20).

  • To have a body ministry fellowship, allowing and encouraging believers to flow with the anointing of the Holy Spirit in order to grow and develop the call of God on their lives (I Corinthians 12; 14:1-5; Mark 16:18; James 5:14; I John 4:1; Romans 12:4-8).

  • To feed and clothe the truly poor by having a soup kitchen, food pantry, clothes closet (Leviticus 25:35; Matthew 25:34-40; Galatians 6:10; Psalms 142:7; l46:7; Luke 4:18; I Peter 3:19), and whatever other means the Lord may tell the center director/pastor  to fulfill this vision (Habakkuk 2:2; Isaiah 30:8) including providing a home for the homeless and runaways (Proverbs 19:17; Luke 3:11; II Corinthians 8:14-15).

  • To raise up workers with a similar vision to reach the lost and poor (I Chronicles 9:22-23; Titus 1:5; Acts 14:23).  To send them out with the guidance and help of this church to start other churches both here and abroad (Acts 15:41; 16:5).

  • To implement a Bible training program with the future goal of developing a full time, live-in Bible school, designed to operate under the full anointing of the Holy Spirit in order to train men and women to function in the five-fold ministry of Ephesians 4 and I Corinthians 12.  Our conviction is that in exalting the Scriptures, we are exalting Jesus Christ who is the Living Word.  The Bible training program and Bible school will also provide teaching and development to those who would be led of the Holy Spirit to build Holy Spirit anointed churches with a vision to save those who are lost and without Christ (Psalms 40:9-10; John 14:26; 1 Peter 4:6).

  • To purposefully strive toward people of all races regardless of skin color or nationality for sake of unity in the Body of Christ (Phil.1: 27; 2:2-3, Eph.4:3).

  • To provide a place of rest for missionaries and their families (Matthew 10:40-42, Mark 9:41, 1 Kings 17).

VISION AND MISSION STRATEGY

OUR BELIEF

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At Freedom Worship Center, we hold firmly to the Bible as the inspired Word of God and the foundation of our faith. Our core beliefs include:

God and the Trinity: One eternal God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: The only begotten Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, buried, resurrected, and now interceding at the right hand of the Father.

Salvation: All have sinned and need repentance, forgiveness, and new birth through faith in Jesus Christ's blood.

Sanctification and Holiness: A life of holiness through faith, the Word, and the Holy Spirit is God's standard for His people.

Baptism with the Holy Spirit: Evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Ordinances of the Church: Water baptism, the Lord's Supper, and the washing of the saints' feet.

Divine Healing: Available for all through Christ’s atonement.

Christ’s Return: A premillennial belief in Jesus’s second coming, resurrection of the righteous, and His millennial reign on earth.

Eternal Destiny: Bodily resurrection and eternal life for the righteous; eternal punishment for the wicked.

These beliefs guide our worship, teaching, and daily lives as we follow Jesus and proclaim His gospel to the world.
